Donald Roy Chaney Sr., 85, of Stoystown, died Feb. 28, 2026 at Somerset Healthcare and Rehab. Born Oct. 16, 1940 in Rockwood, son of John and Blanche (Kinsinger) Chaney.

Preceded in death by parents; brothers John, Ray, Howard, and Roger Chaney; and sister Alice Kinsinger.

Survived by his wife of 64 years the former Catherine Lashley; children: Wanda Jacoby, Brenda (Blaine) Watkins, and Donald Chaney Jr.; grandchildren: Sara Watkins and Daniel Chaney; great grandchildren: Audrey and Ethan Chaney; and sisters: Dorothy Eisentrout, Nancy Moon, Gladys Mitchell, and Carol Chaney Lee.
