Rev. Dr. Pamela Kaye McQuade-Custer, 79, Berlin, died February 22, 2026 at UPMC Altoona. Born December 23, 1946 in Somerset, daughter Guy Sr. and Margaret “Theda” (Davis) McQuade. Preceded in death by parents and mother-in-law Betty Custer. Survived by her husband of 57 years, Allen; brother Guy (Susan) McQuade Jr.; nephew Dr. Casey McQuade; special “adopted” daughter Jodi (Jake) Smith and their son Logan; brothers-in-law: Larry (Pamela V.), Mark (Pam Brant), and Greg (Tracey) Custer; and father-in-law Dale Custer. She was a graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary with a Dr. of Ministry and Formational Counseling Degree. She is an ordained Brethren pastor. She loved to golf, read, and local stock car racing. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Rev. Dr. Larry Deffenbaugh officiating. Interment Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
